![]() Kid's Corner
with Caitlin
Be careful out there, it gets dark early and little kids with costumes get all excited and do a lot of running from door to door. They don’t always watch for fences, cars etc. Also pay attention to the treats you get - they may not be tampered with but certain treats or too much may not sit well with the kid. Who’d ever think I’d say don’t eat too much candy.
Dress warm, take a big flashlight and have your parent dress comfortably so they don’t tire out easily. Set up your route to swing back by home to get your dad or mom a cup of coffee and warmer clothes if necessary. At this time you can also drop off your candy load and go back out with an empty bag.
Walk with friends and if you can get another parent to walk with your mom or dad, great. It will be easier on them and you’ll get to stay out longer. Remember your goal - lots of treats.
And, last but not least. Don’t do any damage and respect the homes and yards of your neighbors.
