I've recently incorporated Personal Touch Mortgage, Inc with the State of Minnesota and received my license as a loan originator.  I will now be able to assist my clients with the sale/purchase of their homes and assist them in obtaining excellent financing or to refinance if the rates are right. 

• As a  loan originator I will not fund mortgages but originate them and assign/sell them to a wholesale lender.  I am applying  with a five major wholesale lenders;  North American, Fleet, InterFirst, First Horizon and First State. They all have offices here except InterFirst which is in Michigan.  Within a week or so I will have access to daily on line rates.
  
• The sale of real estate will continue to be primary and I will assist buyers with the financing they choose.  Buyers may finance with the mortgage company of their preference.  No obligation to our mortgage company.
  
• I plan to work  with my active clients and to help past clients with refinancing.  The mortgage side is meant to compliment the real estate side of the business.
  
• I will be utilizing the services of two excellent processors, Pam Lienemann as my closer and two very good appraisers.  The processing of loans has become streamlined and efficient, especially with software like Point from Calyx.. 
  
• I'll be recommending Title One as our closing company.  Our closer there will be Pam Lienemann who has closed for me for years.  She recently moved to Title One because of their competitive rates and excellent reputation.  Their web site is www.title-1.com. 
  
• www.personaltouchrealty.com will be host to the mortgage site also.  The mortgage component will be up and running this February.
  
• After sixteen years as a Realtor and six now with my own company I've seen a lot of changes in the real estate business.  It is exciting for me to have this opportunity to learn, grow and bring a better product to my clients.
